Supo-Aromasin is a novel drug that inhibits the enzymes responsible for aromatization. Exemestane stands apart from other aromatase inhibitors, making Supo-Aromasin a superior option. Traditional aromatase inhibitors offer only temporary efficacy, whereas Supo-Aromasin provides an irreversible and lasting effect. This drug can reduce estrogen levels in an athlete's body by 85% or more.
During a steroid cycle, Supo-Aromasin helps prevent the side effects associated with steroids, specifically aromatization issues. It's important to highlight that Supo-Aromasin's mechanism is fundamentally different from the typical effects of Nolvadex, which many athletes are familiar with. Tamoxifen does not influence the aromatization process; rather, it interacts with cellular estrogen receptors to prevent estrogen from binding. In contrast, Exemestane directly inhibits the aromatization process. The structure of Supo-Aromasin is closely related to the naturally occurring steroid androstenedione. Exemestane's mode of action involves irreversible binding to active enzymes of hormones, leading to the loss of their activity. Supo-Aromasin does not exhibit estrogenic or progestogenic activities but does show mild androgenic properties.
It is indicated for breast cancer in postmenopausal women, whether naturally occurring or therapy-induced, especially when progressing despite antiestrogen treatment or the use of non-steroidal aromatase inhibitors or progestins.
Recommended dosage is 12.5-25 mg/day for men and 12.5 mg/day for women.
Potential side effects of Supo-Aromasin can vary in frequency and severity. Athletes may experience adverse effects such as nausea, fatigue, sweating, dizziness, headaches, skin rashes, insomnia, and more.
